Coldtech
 Jimex, the parent company of Coldtech, announced in July 2007 that over the next 12 months they will be making aesthetic and functional changes on all of its refrigeration equipment, including half door fridges, full door coolers, glass door merchandising freezers and coolers, undercounter coolers, sandwich pre coolers and pizza pre coolers. In addition, Jimex will introduce new products to supplement its current line of Coldtech refrigeration. The type of changes include re-enforcement of door hinges and front breathing cavities on sandwich prep units. As changes are completed, these new units will be introduced under a new brand name: Ascend.
Jimex will continue to hand build its refrigeration units to ensure their meticulous quality control. In December 2007 the Jimex testing facility became ISO 17025:2005 certified. The company expects to be Energy Star certified within a month.
