Hood System Features:
100% Stainless Steel Construction: This hood is constructed of 100% stainless steel, not just what is seen. Unlike those that are made of stainless steel "where exposed," galvanized metal, or unspecified "steel," this hood will stand the test of time and regular cleaning.
Supply Air or Make Up Air is distributed directly into the interior of the hood: The supply air design is Superior to the competition in that the supply air is distributed directly into the hood through a perforated, aluminum screen. Therefore, more of the conditioned air in your kitchen is not pulled into the hood and out of the building.
Shallow Front Design: Features a shallow front design (standard 16" tall, but can be as short as 12" for an additional charge) so that the hood can be used where low ceilings are present (and taller cooks and chefs will not have to worry about banging their heads) but the hood still drops down closer to the cooking surfaces in the back. This allows even more of the fumes and grease-laden vapors to be pulled out of the building.
Larger Filters: The filters in this hood are 20-inch high. This provides more filtering surface and therefore is more efficient and quieter to operate.
