This listing is for an exhaust hood. This is NOT the entire Hood System that you will need. Please note there are no pre-cut holes for Exhaust or Supply Air. (2 for each is suggested). This is only for the major components that apply to NFPA 96 Codes. To the right we have listed specific accessories for this model. Please check with your local code department for specifics.
This hood is 14 feet wide, 4 feet deep, and 2 feet tall at the back. Best for most wall mount commercial hood applications. For use in medium to heavy cooking environments. The grease cup and aluminum filters are included.
Per the manufacturer's specifications, this hood would require 4700 CFM (at 5/8 Static Pressure) if at least one side is against a wall.
They are Superior to others in that they are made of 100% Stainless Steel, not just what is seen. Unlike those that are made of Stainless Steel ("where exposed") and Galvanized Metal, these will stand the test of time and regular cleaning.
Supply Air is directed closer to the interior of the hood
The supply air design is better than the competition in that the supply air is distributed directly into the hood through a perforated, aluminum screen. It is more efficient in that a minimal amount of conditioned air is exhausted through the hood and more of it stays in the building .
Shallow Front Design
Features a shallow front design (standard 16" tall in the front, but can be as short as 12" for an additional charge) so that they can be used where low ceilings (8 foot) are present. These hoods function where standard Box Hoods would not work. The hood still drops down closer to the cooking surfaces in the back. This allows even more of the fumes, smoke, and grease-ladened vapors to be pulled out of the building.
Larger, 20-inch high Filters
The filters in the hood are 20-inches high as opposed to the typical 16-inch high. This provides more filtering surface and therefore is more efficient and quieter to operate.
