This is for the 10" x 16" hole(s) for the Make-up/Supply Air to be cut and the Supply Collar(s) and Fire Damper(s) to be installed on a New Hood.
A Collar is what the Ductwork (provided by others) physically attaches to.
We strongly suggest that you get this addition because to cut through and weld on such high grade Stainless Steel is quite troublesome, expensive, and often times has to be performed by a specialist!
The location is CENTERED left to right by default.
You can offset it from the CENTER but we would need a simple diagram showing the location.
For 9ft. and larger Hoods, 2-Supply Air Holes/Dampers are required.
