Chef Alexis Hernandez originally hails from Union City, New Jersey. His culinary inspiration comes from his love of fresh and new ingredients. Taking a commanding lead in the kitchen, Chef Alexis hopes to bring a new spin on American Cuisine to his Chamblee, GA locale. A graduate of Sullivan University’s National Center for Hospitality Studies, Chef Alexis pulls from his refined pallet and innovative skill to create a large selection of not only unique recipes, but also his own take on traditional dishes.
Alexis settled on his location on Peachtree Road in Chamblee, Georgia. This is a stones throw from the Chamblee Marta Station, near a bustling public transit in an up-and-coming area. He hopes his specialty braises and Latin-inspired food will bring customers from the area into his restaurant and promote return business. Alexis was a contestant on season 6 of Food Network's Food Network Star.
