MBR Mongolian Barbecues bring performance
and reliability to the range considered to be the
"microwave of Chinese Cooking." Multiple
burners with individual gas valves and safety
pilot systems provide maximum safety. The 3/4" to
1 1/2 " thickness of the top ensures even distribution
of burner heat.
The MBR is used in combination with refrigerated
buffet counters offering a variety of raw ingredients.
Guests fill bowls and ladle sauce on their
selections. Bowls are passed to chefs at the
MBR. The largest units accommodate six chefs
producing up to 200 meals per hour. Guests

The cooking surface is cold rolled steel with a 2"
outside rim to prevent dripping into the combustion
chamber. 36" and 42" units may have cast
iron tops subject to availability. All steel tops are
fitted with cast iron burner deflectors so that
surface temperatures of up to 650ºF are maintained
while tops remain flat.
Gas manifold construction allows gas safety valves
to maintain cooler temperatures for added reliability.
Multiple burners and innovative cook top construction
enables many meals to be cooked in rapid
succession. A stainless steel scrap ring with three
scrap cups (provided) is located around and below
top. Body construction is double wall with a
stainless steel exterior and 10 gauge mild steel
interior. Models with cook tops larger than 60" use
dense, rigid type body insulation. A drip tray is
provided on solid top units. Scrap Chute models
incorporate a removable chute mounted on slides
below the top. Below the chute is a stainless steel
scrap bin mounted on casters. It is accessible
through doors in the lower body. MBR36 and 42
are mounted on cross-braced legs. Large units are
supplied with flanged feet for field installation.

TOP: 72"diameter cast iron or steel plate (manufacturer's option) with warp resistant construction. 2" steel trim around perimeter.
Top is heated by 8" burners, individually controlled by a 3/8" lever handle gas valve and safety pilot system. Pressure regulator provided.
Body shall have a 52" - 96" diameter scrap ring of 18 gauge type 304 stainless steel with 1" return up at inner and outer circumference. Ring is slotted for three stainless steel collector cups (included) and mounted 8" - 9" below Cook Top. Outer body is 18 ga. stainless steel. Inner body is 10 gauge steel. Units with Cook Tops 72" and larger have rigid insulation in the
body. Rounded front drip pan provided for flat top units. Bottom has a heavy steel frame and corrosion resistant steel panels.
Unit mounted on 1-5/8" O.D. tubular stainless steel cross braced legs with adjustable bullet feet.
SCRAP CHUTE MODELS:
Tops are fitted with a center hole opening into a removable chute with a stainless steel Scrap Bin mounted on casters below. Scrap Bin is accessible through hinged double doors on unit front.
