This all-in-one workstation is designed for volume production of numerous food preparation tasks. The bowl cutter uses cutlery grade, twin stainless steel knives that make 3,768 cuts per minute. Cut products that vary from parsley and root vegetables to meats, cheeses and breads as coarse or fine as you like! The stainless steel bowl revolves at 22 rpm, so the longer the product stays in, the finer the cut. Unlike traditional food processors, the BC18 allows for continuous operation; no need to stop unit to empty the bowl! This workhorse of a unit also features a built-in #12 PTO hub. Attach optional equipment such as the VS9 Vegetable cutter and slice away or attached the VS9H shredder and grater unit to make coleslaw or grate cheese. Also available is the ALMFC12 meat and food chopper, which you can use to grind hamburger, pork or make sausages. These items are available from your Univex Authorized Dealer. Safety features include sensors that prevent the unit from running without the bowl and cover in place and no voltage release protection; the unit won’t accidentally turn on after power failure.
