This item was inspected by a Refrigeration / Restaurant Equipment Technician and he allowed it to make ice, which it does with no problems.
The ice bin is not included.
Note:The ice head needs a bin signal cord assembly and bin probe before it can operate as designed. These parts signal to the ice head that the ice bin is full. These parts will need to be purchased separately.
This item weighs 140 lbs. but we have added 50 lbs. to the weight for packing and shipping.
