ACityDiscount recently came in at number 65, from last year’s number 69 in the list of Top 100 Foodservice Equipment and Supplies Dealers, according to Foodservice Equipment and Supplies Magazine (FE&S).
FE&S is a premiere media source that connects equipment and supplies manufacturers and service providers with the full distribution channel including foodservice operators, equipment and supplies dealers, and facility design consultants. FE&S covers the trends and topics that are most essential to the foodservice professional. Some of their most-anticipated editorial features include, Industry Forecast, Distribution Giants and Dealer of the Year.
FE&S ranked the equipment and supply dealers based on sales volume. According to the publication, the dealer industry has increased by 11.15 percent to $5.94 billion in 2012 and so did the fortunes of many foodservice equipment and supplies dealers. According to FE&S' Distribution Giants study, 79 percent of dealers reported an increase in sales in 2012 and another 9 percent reported their sales remained flat.
