The Carter-Hoffmann HL1-18 is a full-height, mobile heated holding cabinet from the hotLOGIX® HL1 series, engineered to provide a budget-friendly staging solution for busy commercial kitchens, bakeries, and catering operations. Constructed from lightweight yet durable non-insulated aluminum, this unit features fixed wire universal slides set on 3-inch centers, allowing it to accommodate up to 18 full-size sheet pans (18" x 26") or 36 full size steam table pans (12" x 20" x 2.5"). It utilizes a precision-engineered, bottom-mounted forced-air heating module capable of warming up to 190°F (88°C), which can be easily adjusted using simple mechanical dial controls and monitored via a digital temperature readout. Designed for effortless back-of-house transport, the cabinet is equipped with a tempered glass door for quick inventory checks, a high-temperature gasket for heat retention, and four 5-inch heavy-duty swivel casters (two with brakes). It operates on a standard 120-volt, single-phase electrical connection with a NEMA 5-20P plug configuration, making it a reliable plug-and-play asset for short-term food warming and high-volume meal staging.
