In installations where weight is a concern or space requirements are limited, the prefabricated steel support frame and enclosure should be used. The support stand and base is efficiently designed and engineered to provide a strong and durable support and enclosure at a greatly reduced overall weight. The support stand consists of an angle iron perimeter frame supported by heavy gauge welded tube steel members stiffened with steel angle bracing. The steel enclosure frame fits directly over the perimeter frame completing the assembly.
Any mason familiar with concrete block work can install a unit. It is even simple enough for the homeowner when simply following the step by step instructions provided in the installation guide. Additionally, all commercial models are supplied with a Basic Installation video.
Essentially, all you need to provide for the Basic Installation are 8 X 8 concrete blocks along with 4 X 8 concrete blocks and concrete which are used to support and enclose the oven. Once enclosed, the exterior shell can be covered with a wide variety of surfacing materials such as tile, plaster, brick, metal etc.
The Basic Installation Guides provide the builder with information on the simplest means of supporting and enclosing the modular ovens. However, the shape and design of the base and enclosure can be altered to fit the tastes of designers and architects as long as the general safety requirements in the Installation Instructions are met.
Insulation: This pizza oven requires 8 bags of Perlite for installation.
