The Hoshizaki URC-9FZ is a remote condenser unit specifically designed to work with compatible "Z" model Hoshizaki ice makers, such as the KML-700MRJZ and KMD-860MRJZ. This air-cooled condenser utilizes R-404A refrigerant and operates on 115V/60/1-ph. Its primary function is to relocate the heat and noise generated by the ice machine's condensing process away from the ice production area, typically to an outdoor location like a rooftop. This separation results in a quieter, cooler, and more comfortable indoor environment, which is highly beneficial for commercial kitchens and customer-facing areas. The URC-9FZ features a durable, weather-resistant cabinet and can be installed up to 55 feet from the ice maker using pre-charged refrigerant lines (sold separately), offering flexibility in placement. It contributes to improved energy efficiency and simplifies maintenance by preventing the buildup of grease and debris that can affect indoor condensers.
