Designed to excel in fast-paced commercial environments, this 36-inch heavy-duty electric range houses six flat wafer burner elements over a chef-depth standard oven base, allowing line cooks to handle multiple sauté pans, stockpots, and sheet pans simultaneously without sacrificing temperature control. Built with a rugged, all-stainless-steel exterior, a porcelainized easy-to-clean oven interior, infinite heat controls, and a large front landing ledge for easy staging and plating, the IR-6-EW delivers exceptional thermal responsiveness while drastically cutting down on evening maintenance time.
The primary advantage of Imperial’s proprietary wafer burner elements lies in their flat, solid-top construction, which maximizes surface contact with cookware for ultra-fast, edge-to-edge heat distribution up to 650°F. Unlike traditional open coil burners that trap grease, create hot spots, and ruin heating elements via boil-over drips, these sealed, flat wafer plates completely shield internal components from spills and food debris. This sealed barrier not only prolongs the lifespan of the heating elements and reduces maintenance costs, but it also allows kitchen staff to quickly wipe down the smooth cooktop surface during peak rushes, ensuring superior sanitation, optimized energy transfer, and uncompromised productivity.
