Designed for commercial dishrooms in restaurants, cafeterias, hospitals, hotels, and institutional kitchens, the InSinkErator PowerRinse® Standard (Model PRS) Complete Waste Collection System integrates directly into your dish-washing line—typically installed in-line with door-type or rack conveyor dishwashers—to optimize your pre-rinse station. To use the system, staff simply hold dirty tableware under the continuous, 30 GPM plume of recirculated water, allowing two-handed scrapping that slashes pre-rinse time in half and accelerates overall dishroom throughput. Built as an eco-friendly and cost-effective alternative to traditional food waste disposers or pulpers, the PowerRinse PRS consumes only 1 GPM of fresh water—using 50% less water per hour than competing collectors—while effectively trapping solid waste in an easily removable, high-capacity scrap basket with fine 1/4" screen perforations for simple disposal or composting. Its heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant stainless steel construction, NEMA 4X electrical control box, dry-start pump protection, and dishwasher-safe components ensure reliable, low-maintenance operation that significantly lowers utility bills, prevents sewer line clogs, and maximizes long-term operational efficiency.
