Because it features a self-contained, water-cooled condenser using eco-friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, the Scotsman NS0422WX-1 operates completely independent of ambient kitchen temperatures, exhausting zero radiant heat into your workspace and keeping indoor HVAC loads low. Outfitted with sealed, maintenance-free bearings, a durable stainless steel auger and evaporator, and a factory-included AP1-P water filtration system, this 22-inch modular head provides an incredibly reliable, pristine supply of flavor-absorbing nugget ice for busy cocktail bars, medical facilities, convenience stores, and corporate breakrooms.
