Star-Max radiant charbroilers are designed to provide excellent heating and control when preparing a wide variety of products. The units are designed with durability and flexibility in mind with cast iron burners and a control knob for each twelve 12 inch section. The grates have been designed to hold a high capacity of product for maximum efficiency under demanding cooking situations.

With a fierce 160,000 BTU output driven by four independently controlled cast-iron burners, this charbroiler gives you total control over your cooking line. Adjust each 12-inch section autonomously—hard-sear dense premium steaks over intense heat on one side while gently marking delicate fish or chicken on the other. The heavy-duty cast-iron grates feature an adjustable design, allowing you to angle them to channel grease away or lie flat for maximum thermal contact.

Engineered with heavy-gauge stainless steel radiants, the Star-Max 6148RCBF offers superior, uniform heat distribution across its entire 48-inch cooking depth. Unlike messy lava rock systems that can harbor grease buildup and cause uncontrollable flare-ups, these engineered radiants catch drippings and instantly vaporize them. This precise process infuses your steaks, burgers, and chicken with that authentic, smoky charbroiled flavor while drastically reducing kitchen smoke and cleaning downtime.

**Please note: This unit is shipped set up for natural gas and will include a field conversion kit for LP gas. A convertible pressure regulator is provided with each charbroiler. The standard gas connection will be 3/4-inch N.P.T. Ensure a certified technician performs the final line hookup and pressure check.
