The Crown Steam DCX-2S is a high-performance, direct-steam pressure steamer designed for facilities with an existing central steam supply, such as a large-scale boiler system. By utilizing external steam, this unit operates without its own internal gas or electric steam generator, resulting in a streamlined design with fewer mechanical parts to maintain. This model features two independent compartments. The DCX-2S dramatically speeds up the preparation of dense proteins and root vegetables while preserving moisture. Built with a heavy-duty 316 stainless steel interior for maximum corrosion resistance, it includes standard manual controls with 60-minute timers and essential safety pressure-interlock doors, making it an ideal, low-maintenance solution for high-volume institutional kitchens.
